Cancellations, Policies & Procedures


Cancellation/
Refund Policy

You may cancel your participation at any time, but please be aware of the event cancellation policy listed below. All cancellations must be received in writing and sent to the DBIA Conferences Department at conferences@dbia.org.

  • If you cancel before September 11, 2026 you will be refunded your registration fee less a $125.00 administrative processing fee.
  • Cancellations received between September 11 and October 9 will be refunded the registration fee less a $175.00 administrative processing fee.
  • No refunds or credits will be given for “no-shows” or for cancellations received on/after October 10, 2026.

Substitutions

As an alternative to cancellation, substitutions may be made. Substitutions are permitted prior to the conference and onsite. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. All registrants and any individuals submitting a substitution request is responsible for any financial obligation (any balance due) associated with the registration. Badge sharing and splitting are strictly prohibited. For any substitutions, please download substitution form and submit completed form to conferences@dbia.org
 


Registration Deadlines

Early-Bird: On/before September 6, 2026
Advanced: September 7 - October 30, 2026
Onsite Registration Available Starting: November 3, 2026
 


Code of Professional Conduct

DBIA’s Code of Professional Conduct helps to ensure our industry meets the highest level of ethical conduct, professionalism and service. With the increased use of design-build project delivery and the increased recognition of DBIA® certified professionals, the professional conduct of DBIA members and credential holders, is more important than ever.


Privacy Laws

DBIA complies with applicable privacy laws in collecting and processing attendee data. Our conference platform includes a robust networking function, which allows all registered participants to find and connect with each other through the conference platform.  Basic information that an attendee shares during registration will be used to create their profile and access on the conference platform.

By engaging with exhibitors and sponsor content, registrants are consenting to exhibiting and sponsoring companies having access to the  personal data that is public in their profile.  They may also be contacted through the conference platform only, by other registrants including attendees and speakers looking to connect with other attendees.
